It’s been a whirlwind lately with the way the market is moving due to low inventory and high demand. Fast sales and multiple offers are happening at pretty much every single price point, meaning many buyers are experiencing buyer’s fatigue as they search for their dream home. Purchasing a home, regardless of if it’s your very first time or if you’re a seasoned home buyer can be really stressful – we get it.
We’ve been in the industry for some time now, and have a few tips that we hope will help you in your home buying journey, especially when it comes to buyer’s fatigue:
- Go in with a play to win mentality ✨
- Save your energy and only view the strongest matches that align with your values, needs and wants. ⚡️ There’s no point in seeing something that doesn’t check your “must have” boxes. This includes no maybes!
- Review each listing thoroughly so you’re efficiently utilizing your time on homes you love ????
- Make sure you check the location to save time and energy ????
- Google Street View some listings – this really helps to get a feel for the area! If you look at multiple years, then you’re able to see what the home looks like in all seasons. ????
- Take a virtual walkthrough, if possible ????????
- Make sure you write a well-crafted offer (price is important, but not always the only deciding factor!) ????
Taking into consideration all of these elements can help you in feeling confident and excited about your prospective home purchase. If you want some assistance in how to navigate this busy market, send us an email at office@lesliemethot.ca
