A look back at one of our biggest months yet and what it means for you.
You’ve probably heard everyone buzzing about how busy the market is right now, but it’s no joke, as almost every house continues to sell over asking price. Over the course of March, we closed 17 sales and 18 ends, as we double-ended one sale. We’re ecstatic to have done this in only a month, and with some great clients. How did we do it?
Selling in a hot market like this is a different ball game, one that requires lots of follow-up and a really good selling position. For us, our success was a culmination of both of these things – following up with sellers to get them a good selling position that allowed them to take advantage of the blistering market. When dealing with competition, you really need to ensure that your deal is structured properly to win, and this means being incredibly active with buyers. We had two bully bids which got the buyers the deal several days before they were scheduled to review all offers. This made all the difference! If you’re not sure about the advantages of a bully bid, they can cut out all competition and get you the home deal ahead of everyone else.
For us, we think that confidence and knowledge to get the best deal, speed and efficiency without losing the finer details and putting our clients first are the three most important things for success.
