Northeast Calgary Homes for Sale & Neighbourhood Guide

Northeast Calgary is not one market. It runs from century-old streets just across the river from downtown to some of the newest communities in the city, and prices, commutes and lifestyles change completely along the way.

The inner-city northeast: where we do most of our work

Bridgeland and Renfrew. Two sister communities with a real main street, quiet tree-lined ridges, and a short walk downtown. Over the past year, condos sold from $233K and detached homes mostly $560K to $1.64M, with new semi-detached infills routinely outpricing older detached stock. Our guide covers the streets, the ridge views, and what to watch for in a century-old home.

Crescent Heights, Winston Heights-Mountview and Tuxedo Park. The next ring of the inner northeast: the same character-home bones and downtown access, often at an easier price of entry. We sell here regularly, and if you’re weighing one of these pockets we’ll give you the street-level read in a conversation.

The established northeast

Mayland Heights, Vista Heights, and the communities along the Blue Line LRT – Marlborough, Rundle, Whitehorn, Temple, Pineridge and their neighbours – are some of the best value in Calgary: 1960s to 1980s homes on real lots, train access downtown, and price points the inner city can’t touch. Between them and the newest corner sits the 1990s northeast – Castleridge, Falconridge, Martindale, Taradale and Coral Springs, the Saddletowne belt where a huge share of the quadrant’s family homes actually trade. No full guides here yet, so ask us and you’ll get the honest version, block by block.

The far northeast

Skyview Ranch, Savanna, Redstone, Cornerstone, Saddle Ridge and Cityscape are the newest corner of the city: newer homes, more square footage for the dollar, and quick airport access. We’ve sold in Savanna and Skyview Ranch this past year. We won’t pretend to be the listing feed for every new community, but when a client’s search points here, we work it the same way we work everywhere.
